ART. 1 – The 11° MEDITERRANEAN EXCHANGE FOR ARCHAEOLOGICAL
TOURISM will take place in the “Centro Espositivo Ariston” of
Paestum, from 13 to 16 November 2008.
ART. 2 – The
exhibition will be open:
On Thursday 13 November from 10.00 to 19.00
On Friday 14 November from 10.00 to 19.00
On Saturday 15 November from 10.00 to 19.00
On Sunday 16 November from 10.00 to 13.30
The WORKSHOP
will be held on Saturday 15 November (from 10.00 to 18.00)
with the operators of the foreign demand. Only the operators
of the offer who meet all the requisites and who have paid
their relative fee may assist to the meeting. The registration
form to the WORKSHOP must be sent to the secretary together
with the payment of the fee within and not after 15 October
2008.
The filling in of the registration form is compulsory in order for
the credit to the WORKSHOP to be accepted.
All exhibitors must be present at the stand with their own personnel
for the whole duration of the Exhibition and during all the opening
hours.
The employed or autonomous personnel must fully comply with the laws,
all obligations falling under the responsibility of the exhibitor.
The Organisation may exercise its right to modify the opening hours
of the Exhibition as well as the opening and closing dates.
ART. 3 – The
Exhibition aims at favouring the exchange, by means of a
confrontation between Demand and Offer, of all forms of tourism
relative to the economic, scientific, social, political and
cultural activities, in the archaeological areas.
ART. 4 – The
Exhibition is open to Italian and foreign companies - OFFER
AND DEMAND – as well as to organizations and individual
operators (suppliers of basic and complementary services,
representatives or agents), in particular to:
- TOUR OPERATORS AND TRAVEL AGENCIES
- RECEPTIVE STRUCTURES
- NATIONAL BODIES FOR TOURISM
- COMPLEMENTARY TOURISM SERVICE COMPANIES
- PUBLIC COMPANIES FOR THE PROMOTION OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES AND DESTINATIONS
- SECTOR ASSOCIATIONS
- ANYBODY ELSE INTERESTED IN ARCHAEOLOGICAL TOURISM
The Organization
has the discretional and unquestionable right to exclude
from the Exhibition products and services. The Organization
will provide for the insertion of the exhibitors in the official
catalogue and on the website; nevertheless, it will not be
held responsible in case of possible omissions and/or errors
in printing and diffusing such catalogue. The publication
will enclose the data relative to the forms sent by the exhibitors
within 30 September 2008.
ART. 5 – The
FORMS, which contain the participation regulations, must
be sent back within and not after 30/9/2008 to the ORGANISATION
SECRETARY Leader sas via Roma, 226 - 84121 Salerno. Based
on its firm judgment, the Secretary may, though, accept FORMS
sent after such date.
The FORMS will be considered as valid only if the full amount has been
settled. Such import will be fully returned in case the request is
not accepted. The services used during the Exhibition must be paid
before the end of the Exhibition. By signing the form, the Exhibitor
accepts the present regulation as well as all subsequent integrative
normative and technical regulations that will be issued.
ART. 6 – Admission
to the exhibition is subject to the acceptance of the request
by the Organisation, whose firm and unquestionable decision
will be confirmed by written within 30 days before the starting
date of the Exhibition. The acceptance will be valid exclusively
as regards the exhibitor who has signed the form and paid
the relative amount. In case of refusal of the request, the
Organisation is not obliged to specify its motives and is
not to be held responsible for such decision.
ART. 7 – Should
the Exhibitor renounce by means of a written registered communication
sent within 30 days at the latest before the starting date
of the Exhibition, the Organisation will keep 50% of the
participation fee already paid as general expense allowances.
No repayments will be carried out in case such renunciation is not
done in accordance with the previously stated terms.
ART. 8 – Following
the adherence, the exhibitor will receive an Informative
Card containing all regulations regarding the assembling
of the Stand, the furniture material, the safety norms, the
days and hours for the assembling and disassembling of the
stand, as well as any other directives regulating the entry
of the workers and persons responsible for the assembling
operations. Exhibitors must abide by the norms held in the
Informative Card, which will be established according to
the unquestionable decision of the Organisation.
ART. 9 – The
Organisation will subsequently assign the stands according
to the exhibitors’ indications, within the limits of
the technical-organisational needs. Therefore, any preference
will have only an indicative value.
The Organisation may exercise its right to modify the placing of the
stands even if previously assigned or change their dimensions should
they be made necessary due to technical causes or organisational needs.
ART. 10 – All
persons who present a reservation form for a non-assembled
stand, must present layout projects, sketches, furniture
and decoration (such as the preparation of back-panel, dividing
panels, and the decorations), which are subject to the approval
of the Organisation within 30 September 2007. It is forbidden
to close with full panels every side of the area towards
the corridor for a length over 50% of the total length of
the side itself.
ART. 11 – Except
in case of force majeur or particular needs, the areas will
be made available to the exhibitors ONE DAY before the start
of the Exhibition, and all stands must be assembled and all
products displayed, within 8pm of 12 November 2008.
ART. 12 – If,
due to force majeur or due to reasons independent from the
Organisation, the exhibition were not to be held, all engagements
taken towards third parties and all the organisation expenses
will be divided among the Exhibitors registered within the
limits of the amounts paid. The amounts, if available, will
be returned proportionally to the adherent members. The expenses
sustained for special systems and installations, carried
out on the specific request of the exhibitors, must be fully
reimbursed to the Organisation.
ART. 13 – The emptying of the stands must begin only after 2
pm on 16 November. After such date, the organisation will provide for
the emptying of the stand at the expenses of the exhibitor, without
it involving the responsibility of the Organisation. The Exhibitor
must consign back the stand to the competent Technical office of the
Exhibition in the same conditions in which it has been provided. In
case of non-fulfilment of these regulations, the Organisation may make
up for the expenses it incurs for taking back the stand at the Exhibitor’s
expenses. Were the exhibitor to refuse, the Organisation will have
the right to make up for the expenses on the goods and material displayed.
The Organisation may exercise such right on any other credit the adherent
member owes to the Organisation following its registration and participation
in the Exhibition. To protect its right and credit reason, the Organisation
may forbid the removal of the goods and furniture present on the stand,
having the right to request the preventive attachment of the goods
and any other objects present in the stand, should it consider it necessary.
ART. 14 – Non-members
are not allowed to design, copy or photograph the objects
on display without a written authorisation from the Exhibitor.
The Organisation, which has the right to directly reproduce or which
may authorise the reproduction of the complete of parts of the external
and internal area, and to allow the selling by official persons in
charge, cannot be held responsible for possible photographic recording
third parties may do unlawfully. The introduction in the Exhibition
area of cinematographic equipments is subject to the written authorisation
of the organisation. A copy of any filming must be provided to the
Secretary.
ART. 15 – All
exhibitors who, in their own stand, intend providing food
and drinks for promotional purposes must present a request
to do so to the Organisation. The Organisation will subsequently
present to the Municipality of Capaccio Paestum a request
for the issuing of a regular health authorisation. The Organisation
is exempted from any consequences following the non-fulfilment
of the exhibitor exposed by the competent Institutions.
ART. 16 – For
the sole purpose of ensuring the good proceeding of the Exhibition,
the Organisation provides for a general security service
without assuming, though, responsibility for any theft, damage,
or any other type of risk that may occur. During the opening
hours of the Exhibition and during the whole periods for
the assembling and disassembling of the stands, the exhibitor
is responsible for supervising its own stand. The registration
fee includes a cleaning service. Nevertheless, the exhibitors
may entrust such service to trust companies with which the
Organisation has agreed on the conditions and unit prices.
ART. 17 – It
is forbidden for the exhibitors to put on music and sounds.
Any derogation, provided by the Organisation either generally
or “ad personam”, will be valid only in case
it has been issued by written, and may be revoked at any
time with immediate effect, even by means of a simple verbal
communication. The authorisation does not exempt the exhibitor
from using such equipments in such a way as not to disturb
the other stands and visitors, and does not exempt the exhibitor
from abiding by the law in force that regulate such matter.
Any advertisement tax will be at the exhibitor’s expenses
should it be applied by the competent offices of the Municipality
of Capaccio and by the SIAE (Italian Authors and Publishers
Society).
ART. 18 – It
is forbidden to display or distribute any type of graphical
material (pamphlets, brochures, leaflets, posters, etc.)
that is not strictly commercial, or that may (even unintentionally,
occasionally or indirectly) criticise, damage or offend third
parties. It is forbidden to distribute questionnaires or
any other documents that serve the purpose of gathering signatures,
declarations or information not pertinent to tourism.
Each adherent member may carry out commercial actions within its own
stand only for his or her own company and by means of promotional and
advertising tools strictly pertinent to the goods for which the Exhibitor
has been admitted. It is absolutely forbidden any type of selling to
the public with immediate consignment.
ART. 19 – The
exhibitor is responsible towards the Organisation and the
Institution owner of the exhibition area, of any damage provoked
directly or indirectly by his or her employees or third parties,
without exclusion or limitation of any kind. THE EXHIBITOR
MUST BE ENSURED against all risks, including theft, fire,
water infiltration or waterfall, rust and civil liability
towards third parties.
The Exhibitor must have the following insurances:
a) «All Risks» Insurance policy for all goods, material,
furniture, equipments and installations either self-owned or used by
the Exhibitor during the exhibition;
b) Civil Liability Insurance policy for any damage unintentionally
provoked to third parties in relation to the participation in the Exhibition
for a maximum not inferior to € 500,000.00; the Province of Salerno,
leaseholder of the areas, will provide for such insurance, for all
Exhibitors by means of special agreement.
As regards the aforementioned guarantees, the Exhibitor must have his
or her own «All Risks» insurance valid for fairs and exhibitions,
including the renunciation clause to the right for compensation towards
the Province of Salerno and third parties involved in the organisation
of the Exhibition.
ART. 20 – The
Organisation has the right to establish, even by means of
derogation to the present regulation, norms and directives
it may consider as suitable for a better functioning of the
Exhibition and pertinent services. These norms and directives
have the same value as that of the present Regulation and
same compulsoriness. In case of non-fulfilment of the present
Regulation or of any subsequent directives, the Organisation
may also adopt expulsion measures. In such case, the Exhibitor
has no right to refunds or to indemnities.
ART. 21 – Further
technical regulations regarding the assembling of the stands
as well as further general regulations such as the norms
regulating the advertisement of the stand, the exhibition’s
official catalogue, the entrance tickets and admission cards,
the parking lots, the renting of cars, the sign posters,
the working machinery, the supply of electric energy and
water, etc., will be communicated by means of the Informative
Cards and, thus, will be fully part of the present Regulation.
ART. 22 – Any
complaint must be presented by written to the Organisation.
The Court of Salerno is the only court competent for any
controversy that may arise.
